Every Hifz class is a live, face-to-face video session with your dedicated Hafiz or Hafiza tutor — never a pre-recorded lesson. New memorization (sabaq) is heard and corrected in real time, then reinforced through daily sabaqi and manzil revision, so nothing memorized is ever left to fade.

The Proven Three-Part Hifz System

Sabaq (New Lesson)

Each class begins with newly memorized verses. The tutor listens, corrects Makharij and Tajweed, and ensures strong initial retention before moving forward.

Sabaqi (Recent Review)

The last 5–7 lessons are reviewed daily. This strengthens short-term memory and consolidates recently memorized portions before they fade.

Manzil (Old Revision)

Older memorized Juz are revisited regularly to ensure nothing is forgotten. The manzil cycle keeps the entire memorized portion fresh and strong.

Hifz Programme FAQs

With regular daily classes, most students complete Hifz in 2 to 4 years. Younger students with strong retention may finish faster. Adults may take slightly longer but many do complete it. Pace varies by student — we never rush memorization at the cost of retention.

We recommend students be at least 5 years old to start Hifz, though 7–12 is generally considered the most effective age range. Adults can and do successfully memorize the Quran — it is never too late.

Yes. We require students to have a good foundation in Quran reading and preferably basic Tajweed before starting Hifz. This ensures what is memorized is pronounced correctly from the very beginning.

For effective Hifz, we recommend 5–6 classes per week. Each class covers new memorization (sabaq), recent revision (sabaqi), and older revision (manzil). Consistent daily practice between classes is essential.

Yes. We have experienced Hafiza tutors available for female students. Many families specifically request female tutors for their daughters, and we accommodate this.

Forgetting is a natural part of memorization — the Prophet ﷺ described this. Our three-part revision system (sabaq, sabaqi, manzil) is specifically designed to prevent and address forgetting through structured daily review.
